James Robinson Speciality Ingredients Launches Jarocare R25, a Red Lentil–based Active for Precision Bond Repair

James Robinson Speciality Ingredients (JRSI) has launched Jarocare R25, a natural bond repair solution derived from red lentil protein. Developed by the company’s Biotome division, this innovative ingredient represents a shift in how damaged hair can be repaired. 

The science behind R25 centres on its distinctive solvent-free enzymatic extraction process that preserves essential amino acids – lysine, arginine, and histidine. Advanced fluorescent tagging techniques provide visual confirmation that R25 penetrates deep into the hair fibre, reaching areas where repair is most needed.
